OUR MISSION:
The Arden Garden Club connects community members through gardening, education, and local projects. Our goal is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, share skills, and improve our town’s green spaces. Through hands-on workshops, volunteer efforts, and social events, we promote sustainable gardening and community involvement.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, we’ve got events for all ages to learn, share, and grow together. Join us as we create a vibrant, green space in our community!

Kid-Friendly Gardening Activities – Special events designed to get little hands in the dirt and inspire a love for nature.
Environmental Stewardship
We focus on sustainable gardening practices that support local ecosystems and conserve natural resources.

Arden Beautification
A little bit of effort can make a big difference in how our community looks and feels. Through volunteer projects, we turn public spaces into welcoming, beautiful green areas.
Public Garden Plantings – Adding flowers and greenery to high-traffic areas.
Adopt-a-Spot Program – Encouraging residents to care for small public green spaces.
Seasonal Planting Days – Bringing the community together to refresh flower beds, plant trees, and enhance shared spaces.
Whether you want to grow your gardening skills, help beautify our town, or just enjoy digging in the dirt with neighbors, there’s a place for you here!
Let’s get our hands dirty and make a difference in Arden!
Annual Plant & Garden Supplies Swap – A once-a-year event where members can exchange plants, seeds, and gardening tools.
Vine & Wine – Rolling up our sleeves to remove invasive plants, followed by a well-earned wine and cheese social.
Workshops & Classes – Learn about composting, native plants, vegetable gardening, and pollinator-friendly landscaping.
DIY Building Projects – Hands-on sessions to construct trellises, planters, and DIY rain barrels for water conservation.
Craft Events – Seasonal and garden-themed projects like wreath making, garden stones, and pressed flower frames.
Volunteer Days – Help plant, maintain, and improve Arden’s public spaces through group projects.
Garden Planning Social – A cozy winter gathering to exchange ideas, sketch out garden plans, and get inspired for spring.

A rain garden is a depressed area in the landscape that collects rain water from a roof, driveway or street and allows it to soak into the ground. Planted with grasses and flowering perennials, rain gardens can be a cost effective and beautiful way to reduce runoff from your property.
