Mosquito Control
Annual State Program
The Maryland State Department of Agriculture offers Maryland communities to participate in the adult mosquito surveillance and control program each year. Spray routes are filled on a first come, first served basis. This program targets adult mosquito control services only.
UPDATE:
We have reached out to the Maryland State Department of Agriculture requesting information and application for the 2023 program in the hopes of getting on the list this year for spraying. As always, there is an exemption form that residents can complete to have their respective property skipped. The link to that form is listed below. If you'd like to be exempt from the program, please complete the form and return it to the State as instructed.

2023 Community Application:
For those residents who would like for their properties to be excluded from adult mosquito control services, please print, complete, and mail the [EXEMPTION FORM] to the Maryland Department of Agriculture. For more information on mosquitos, mosquito-borne diseases, insecticides, and tips to reduce mosquito breeding areas in your yard, please visit the Department of Agriculture's [Mosquito Control Section Website]. Below you will see the 2023 Arden on the Severn Community map to be provided to MDA along with the application when available.
